Tonami City visited an elementary school since the city provided guidance on the hydroponic cultivation of tulips. 55 school children, including Mr. Shen Huan-Dong, the principal of Wen Ya Elementary School, brought tulips hydroponically cultivated by themselves along with them, reporting its growth situation.
The children asked questions to Chief Mizuki of Tulip Shikisai-kan　about the cultivation of tulips and further increased their interest in tulips such as the joy of growing plants or getting to know the preciousness of life.
