Tonami Mission, including Mayor Natsuno and Chairman Kawabe, attended the opening ceremony of the Ukonkou Exhibition at the 2023 Shilin Official Residence in Taipei, Taiwan.
Mayor Natsuno and 2022 Princess Tulip Ms. An Yamagishi presented a commemorative gift and a bouquet of tulips brought from Tonami to Taipei Mayor Chiang, and Chairman Kawabe presented a Japanese teacup of Sansukeyaki pottery (tulip pattern).
At the venue, 130,000 bulbs of 20 varieties were planted, including bulbs exported from Tonami. The colorful tulips were in full bloom, attracting many tourists.
